Description

By burning charcoal to create a blazing hot flame, the furnace is able to fire clay, and smelt ores into metal bars.

The furnace is a facility used to process ores into bars. It requires charcoal to operate, which can be obtained using the kiln. Its operation can be greatly sped up by casting Superheat on it. In order for the furnace to function, it must not have a roof above it. Despite the description stating that it can also fire clay, it cannot do so at this time.

It can only be built once the player has unlocked the recipe by having tin or copper ore in their inventory.
