Description

Build new structures to level this skill.

Construction is one of the skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds and allows players to build shelter to rest, crafting stations to produce and process resources and materials, and more.

Players earn experience by building Structures, repairing said structures, and from reading Construction Skill Tomes.

Players can press the "B" key (default binding) to access the building menu. There, players can select from various Structures to place in-game. All structures have durability, which can be damaged and eventually destroyed by monsters, such as during goblin raids. To repair any damaged object, enter the repair interface by pressing the "T" key (default binding) and then interacting with the structure.

Players can consume potions, eat food, or equip trinkets to increase Construction experience.

Levelling

See experience for a table of the experience required to reach each level.

Levelling Construction grants access to both passive benefits as well as unlocking spells and other abilities. When you build an object and then break it, you will no longer receive Construction experience for building that object until the world is reset. An effective way to quickly train Construction is to walk backwards while building something with a low cost in a straight line (such as chairs). Once you've run out of supplies, destroy all of them, exit the world, and load back in. Once the world has been reset, players can reach the desired level by repeating this process.

update 31 March 2026 (0.11):

Added a new Tier 4 Building Kit - Baroque Castle.
- This includes new roof, wall, floor, foundation, and beam/pillar building pieces to the game. It also added in Thatched Roofing.

patch 15 December 2025 (0.10):

Added a new Power level 3 Building Kit - the Castle Kit.
- This includes foundations, walls, stairs, floors, doorways, and windows.

patch 17 June 2025 (0.8.0):

Two new build pieces for base defences - Palisade Walls and Palisade Gates.
Visual treatment for Power level 2 Building pieces (Oak).
When building pieces take 50% damage, they will visually show wear and tear.
