Abyssal Whip

The abyssal whip is a power level 7 one-handed masterwork melee weapon that can be created at a blacksmith's bench. To create this, it requires the Abysmal Whip to be wielded when interacting with a dragonkin statue near the Fight Cave. It is located directly North, in the lava. Note, the method to getting the recipe is currently bugged.

The following text is transcribed from the Journal.

The abyssal demon is a foul beast. A single one can massacre a village before the warning bell can even sound. Crafting a weapon from their remains symbolizes triumph against adversity or perhaps just hubris in its purest form.

Infused with the hate of the demon, each whip crack generates unbearable pain. Victims find themselves overcome with suffering as the agony seeps into the wounds the whips leave behind.

It is said that the whip even feeds on that misery, growing stronger with each life taken. The hate imbues the weapon with a desire to inflict more pain, and it grows stronger each time such a wish is granted. Or, so the legends say.

Only one Wild Knight has ever chosen to wield the whip in vengeance against the demon for a fallen sibling. Her name is dust in the wind of history, but there are still creatures that hide in the shadows, afraid of the crack of her whip.

Poison Plant Bulb was renamed to Poison Ichor, a requirement for making the abyssal whip.

The Abyssal Whip's crafting requirements now include 4 more hard leather, 12 swamp thread, and 6 poison plant bulbs. Ram horns have been removed as a requirement to create the whip.
