Kuldra always liked the crescent shape of the scimitar. It reminded her of the moon goddess, in pieces within her belly. The curved scimitar shape recalled her claws.

As a result, the scimitar became the weapon of her most trusted warriors. They were her Talons - extensions of herself. Whenever a task required a swifter, more delicate touch, she would employ them. Her army would learn to fear being gutted by the Talons, almost as much as being gutted by Kuldra herself.
