Black dragons, also known as lesser black dragons, are power level 8 dragons that can be found in the Scorned Wilderness raid. There are currently only three black dragon spawns.

Bug: At this moment, black dragons do not respawn when restarting the raid.

Attacks

  • Lunge
  • Tail sweep (if behind them)
  • Fire Claw Slash
  • Poison Blast: The black dragon launches a fire projectile to build up around the three-quarters point.
  • Fire Breath: The black dragon sweeps the area in front of them with their fire breath.
  • Wing Attack: The black dragon flaps its wings, blowing wind at the player, with the second such blast doing damage.
  • Fly: The black dragon can fly into the sky and do a few moves:
    • Fire Breath: The black dragon shoots their breath in a line going away from them. This staggers the player and can easily lock them in to take all of the damage.

Location

Within the Scorned Wilderness, they can be found in Dragontail Vines, in the Fragments of Ghornfell, and in The Shattered Stronghold areas.

If you thought the red dragons were bad, you're in for a rude awakening. The black dragons is a powerhouse of destruction. Every fibre of its being is bred to defend Kuldra and obliterate all threats that get remotely near.

Xikotal was the exception. He was a creature of empathy and he struggled with violence that Kuldra bade him inflict on the world. When the first of the dragon wars ended, he nestled in with Imaru and teh two of them tried to turn tragedy into something beautiful; a gentle utopia, where all life was sacred.

This disgusted Kuldra, and she has made sure that none of her black-scaled brood ever suffer the same weakness

  • Unlike the black dragons from RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, and RuneScape Classic, these can do poison damage.
