Vannaka likes to complain about 'Combat Tourists'. He would often be tapped up by wealthy families to teach their sons and daughters how to swing a weapon. He would arrive in their courtyards and find those sons and daughters in sparkling clean armour, about three sizes too big, and forged by the best smiths in the land. He would start his lesson by putting a palm on their visor and pushing them over. They would wobble about like an upturned gnome tortoise. He would then teach them about humility.
