Fire almost seems redundant beneath the scorching glare of the Umbral Sands corrupted sun, yet fire will always find a way to burn something, if you let it.

The shamans of ancient Moon Garou tribes believed that fire was intelligent, and alive, in ways that defied normal understanding. Some fires were good, gentle creatures, that would warm the hearth and banish the cold in the night. But other fires were cruel things, possessed of an overwhelming desire for destruction.

The danger, of course, is, like people, all fires have the potential to betray you. Which is why some hunters had the sense to make sure the fire was very far away from them, by launching it through the air at ludicrous speeds.
