Sapphire is a gemstone that can be obtained by mining gold ore nodes. It can be found if the player has unlocked the Gem Prospector perk at level 16 Mining. It can be manually mined with an appropriate pickaxe or using the Rocksplosion spell.

Aside from their use in terrible teenage poetry, sapphires are a vital component in jewellery crafting. They can be found hidden among the metal ores around Ghornfell, or hidden in the various chests left behind by the old kingdom.
