Spear traps are located within dragonkin vaults and extend 10 metres from the walls in a rhythmic pattern. Going through the spear trap whilst it extends will cause 7-10 health damage to the player. To avoid this, players can cast the Windstep spell to jump over the spear if there is a high enough clearance. Alternatively, players should time when the spears retract to pass safely with either casting the Surge spell and immediately dodging out of the trap immediately after (only if the player is still stuck in the trap upon surging past it).
