Potatoes are a Power Level 2 raw ingredient, which means they can be cooked at a campfire or grill into baked potato starting at Cooking level 12, and not burnt into burnt potato at level 27. They can be gathered from potato (plant)s in Bramblemead Valley and potato (Farming) from potato seeds. Potatoes can be used to make compost.

Update history
This information is based on the changelogs of the game.
update 31 March 2026 (0.11.0):
- The skill caps were raised to 99 and the power levels of ingredients were adjusted, as well as the Cooking level required to cook them without burning. A number of new ingredients and recipes for the Cooking Range were added.
- The item type was changed from Resource to Raw Ingredient.
- The journal entry was rewritten.
- The maximum stack limit was increased from 20 to 99.
- The item's journal entry was grammatically changed.
